We just recorded a video about a very simple test we like to make in the shop right after we heat treat our blades in our digitally controlled electric kiln.
All the impacts are applied to the tip of the blade, which shouldn' t break or bend. This experiment gives us an idea of the toughness of our tools, karambits, knives and tomahawks and of what they could withstand in critical situations if required.
